Israel Stands Alone

Israel, the promised land, the land of God's people, the land of hope. stands alone surrounded by enemies that want to destroy her. God will protect His land and His people and those who go against Israel will surely know the wrath of God. Those who support Israel will know the loving and forgiving God of the Bible. Don't Blame Yourself

This is a response I posted to a young writer on "WriteHere" . Maybe there are some others with a similar situation. Hope this helps a little.


Do not put the blame on yourself or think it is you personally that is the cause of this strange behavior by his parents. They, never meeting you, don’t really know you and would probably have a problem with any young girl their son was with. They or the mother, most probably, does not want to share her son with another female and is one of those mothers that cannot live with the reality that someone else, (in her mind, another “women”) is getting the attention of her precious son and will take him away from her.  Or maybe this is not the case and they really are just too strange to understand. Either way don’t beat yourself up over this, it has nothing to do with you personally. If this boy wants to be with you bad enough, he will stand up to his parents; or mother, and defend you. If he doesn’t then you must make a decision, should I stay or should I go?

I don’ t know your age but I take it you are still very young. The world is a big beautiful place when you are young, so much to explore and so much to learn, don’t live it frustrated, especially over some boy! That is no way to carry on, there are many people you have yet to meet, some will be good and you know, some not so good and some just downright WT???

Youth is a special time in your life but it is fleeting, before you know it you will be looking back and wondering where it all went. Don’t spend it with someone who only brings you frustration, there are many other good people out there who would really appreciate you and like you for who you are. I hope you find them or they find you, whichever. Unless you like this boy so much that you simply cannot live without him ( and that would be a shame because you are too young to be so tragic) you should just pull up stakes and move on. Experience other people, you are too young to get hooked on one person, this is all a part of youth. You will have many relationships and friendships and you will learn something from each one to take with you through life’s journey. You will meet someone that you think is “the one” and fall deeply in “like” with them; not love for heaven’s sake. If you are as young as I think, you are not mature enough to experience real love, I mean really, real love . Don’t take it too hard, there are many people in their 20’s and older that are still not mature enough to know really, real love.  You may fall into and out of “like” several times before you are ready to move on. Don’t worry about it, that is all a part of youth. The pain will soon go away and you will learn from it. Become stronger and move on to get to where you will eventually find the one you are meant to be with and really know, “this is the one”.

You need to experience life more, learn a few things and discover yourself, find out who you are before you allow someone into your life close enough to have so deep an effect on you. Your life, your very soul is the most precious gift you have that you can give to someone else, the most precious. Hold on to it and guard it. When you do give it you should know in you heart of hearts that you are confident in who you are and that you are bestowing this precious gift of yours to the right person;  someone who will protect it and love it as much as you do. When you are ready to move from “like” to “love” you will know it in your heart and soul. You will notice a difference in you that may be very confusing for a time, when it won’t go away and you feel like you’re losing your sanity,  you will just know. Take your time, this is not something to rush into, remember, you are a precious gift not to be given lightly and you can only fall in love for the first time once! If you are lucky and through the grace of God, once will be enough.

 Once is  tough enough and there is no feeling on earth like when you finally know and make that first big step. The first time is the best time, you may have a second chance, but you will always remember your first.  So think about who you are with, is this person helping you grow, can you be yourself when you’re are with this person? Can you see yourself with this person a year from now or more, how do you see your life with them? If you do it right maybe those first time memories can be with your first one.

It can be done, though many have tried and failed, but it can be done.

Does God just let things Happen?


God does not let anything happen. God, if one chooses to believe, put us here and He gave us free will to make our own decisions as to how we live our life and how we treat others. He gave us his divine word spoken through the Holy Spirit in the form of the Bible. It is the best instruction manual for life know to man, in spite of what other man made earthly religions may say. God leaves it entirely up to you, either read the Bible, learn, find answers to life’s difficulties and trials and have a conversation with Him or ignore the Bible and go through life with no direction, clueless and alone without the help of God, through the Holy Spirit to guide you through the rough times and those times when you don’t have an answer and no other earthly person has the answers as well.

Why is it that when things go awry and not the way we want, then we think of God and want to blame Him, when we never ever think of Him any other time. We don’t give Him even two minutes of our precious time, or ever consider opening a Bible to have a conversation with Him. God does love us, believe it or not, but He wants us to love Him back, is that really too much to ask. If you really love someone, don’t you want them to love you back? If they don’t love you back, how does that make you feel? Are you always going to be there for them whenever they may need someone to talk to or help them get through a difficult time the way God does for us when we need someone in the same way?

You can ignore God but He is not going to go away, He will always be there for you, all you need to do is to come to Him, He will always be there waiting for you, He has the time, and the patients.


The world is a dangerous place, nature is by nature, very beautiful and very violent. There are many bad people, Godless and evil, those who choose to live a life without God or any semblance of morality. As I stated earlier, we all have free will, some just choose to be evil and Godless and do harm to others, maybe due to external influences or the influence of other evil people who deceive them.

So you see it is our responsibility to use that free will for good and love for our fellow human being and not for evil and mayhem. Would you prefer a God, if you will, that denies you free will and makes you do exactly what He wants you to do? That is what some people try to do and it is never a good thing when it happens.

That is not how God operates, we are here to make our own decisions and hopefully learn from those decisions. When a terrible act of nature occurs, or a tragic accident happens, God is not letting it happen, He sees what is happening but cannot intervene because it is all a part of our human experience and our earthly existence. However God is there for us, to comfort us in our time of need and to help us understand. The trouble is not enough people look to God for answers, comfort and understanding, but instead blame Him for the things they do not understand and that are too enormous for them to comprehend.

As His children, God feels the pain and anguish in us and He hurts for us as any loving father would. Can your earthly father be with you at all times, everywhere you go? When something goes wrong that is not within his control, is it correct to blame him? Can you go to him for comfort and understanding and a loving touch? I hope you can, but what if you have no father, then what? God is our Heavenly father, our spiritual father and he is with us always and will forever be there for us.

Instead of blaming Him for the mishaps, the tragedies, the awful things that go wrong, stop for a moment and think about what happened and turn to God for the answers and understanding. He is always listening for you and wants to hear from you. What have you got to lose other than that hopeless, painful, confused feeling deep in your soul.

Why do you think you feel that way in the first place? It is because we are His children and our soul is a part of Him and He feels what we feel. He wants us to come to Him so he can teach us and help us to grow and give us the love and understanding that can only come from Him. Life if tough, why go through it alone, your Heavenly father is there for you so open a Bible or give Him a call and say hello. You won’t be disappointed, really.

I just watched a program called “The Bibles influence on America”, which was very interesting and informative, however one glaring question came to mind and I couldn’t help but think, what about today? The narrator spoke of the men who established this experiment of ours and how their lives and the bible were intertwined. You will never see any of this in any school, not one, not ever. The origins, the people and the events that led to the founding of this country is no longer considered required learning, it is considered to be something that happened long ago, forgotten and not relevant today. The men responsible are now thought to be evil “white men”. Forget that what they gave us is a country unlike any on earth and that their love of God translated into love of country and declared “…that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,”

So what about current day, does the bible and the reverence of God have influence on America or the men that we now entrust with the responsibility of protecting and preserving the ideals and origins of this once great nation? The answer is obvious, just look around and see what is going on and what has been going on for the past 50 years. The answer is a resounding NO, our nation’s leaders and our current government bears little or no resemblance to what originally defined us as a nation. Any influence the bible may have had on our founders and the ideals they put forth as a result have long been forgotten, replaced or ignored. Today we have few if any true statesmen, Godlessness and corruption are the order of the day. The commandments which were once looked upon as a standard that all Americans respected and tried to live by are now replaced with Liberal doctrine that teaches what used to be considered as moral and patriotic is false and not the way we should live our lives. Our leaders and those in the public arena of influence and ideas are for the most part immoral and shameful in the way they conduct themselves. God is laughed at by them and those of us that do speak of God and love of country are called kooks, radicals, and a host of other names by them, which the agents of (mis)information use over and over to legitimize their Godless claims and their treasonous and immoral behavior.

All one need do is look at what is happening to our nation right now. Who are the ones trying to bring back civility, common sense, and the values that once defined us as a nation? Who are the ones trying to bring us together as a people so we can once again be the great nation we once were, those so many years ago and who are the one tearing us apart, dividing us and telling us that we have no alternative but to turn to them and the government they have created for us. They tell us to trust them as they befool the American people and give handouts to the very people they have been deceiving and have kept in shackles for a generation and longer.

The American dream that once was and any hope of it becoming a reality for all Americans ever again has been systematically ripped from our grasp, beaten, murdered and buried.  We now have a government that is redefining and reshaping America and our way of life. This is not so difficult to comprehend. If you can be intellectually honest with yourself for just one minute you will see that this has been going on for some time now and it only gets worse as the days and week go by.

When I was a child in the 1960’s I would watch a program on PBS called “The Great American Dream Machine”, it was a good show and I still remember in one episode they were interviewing people in Europe about the American dream. The segment concluded with the comment that Europeans thought that the only difference between a rich American and a poor American was that a poor American washed their own Cadillac. I remember thinking as a young lad, how cool is that! Well, it may have been that way for awhile, but it had to end. Sometimes things change for the better, sometimes for the worse.  America has turned away from the things that once made us a great nation and a prosperous people. We have turned our backs on God, morality, civility, patriotism, and we have turned over our sovereignty to those who do not have our best interest in mind.

Can we get back to the Godly roots that founded this country, the promise of prosperity and the hope of a dream?

As it is stated in the words our “Declaration of Independence”:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:...”

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

This is our history and to many Americans it still means something. It is the reason so many people throughout our short history have risked so much and given up so much to arrive at our shores. Unfortunately this has been forgotten and disgraced along with many of the other historical documents that this country was founded on. Now our shores are ravaged by molesters and we are losing our identity as Americans. Lady Liberty has been raped and no one is coming to her defense, the barbarians are at the gate and we have our heads down texting on our “smart phones”.

Maybe the American Dream is dead, but maybe we can resurrect it. It will take all Americans, ALL, to work together, as one people, as one nation under God, but it just might be possible. It might have been a dream, but it was our dream, we fought for it and we earned it. The dream was alive once, but now it is just a memory, maybe it can be again. Is the return of America worth it? Is the promise of hope, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness worth the effort? That question has yet to be answered.

What Me Worry?

The whole world is going absolutely berserk, stupidity and irresponsible juvenile behavior have become normal and acceptable. Hate and blatant falsehoods are a daily occurrence and never questioned.  Christians and Jews are being persecuted and slaughtered around the world and no one notices or cares the least bit. The political system is broken and corrupt but the deception, shame and oppression goes on and is never questioned. The lies of the state run media are believed and repeated by the immature mindless masses who do not want to know the truth, refuse the truth and cannot handle the truth if and when it does somehow manage to penetrate their sheltered little protected fantasy world of denial and juvenile irresponsibility.
So what, I can’t be bothered and I don’t care because I have “NFL Sunday Ticket”!

Deeper Into the Abyss

This morning I awoke to the sound of my radio, greeting me a good morning, but what was this I was hearing? The person on the radio was talking about something that had taken place at a restaurant. I won’t name the restaurant because it could have been any number of restaurants and this may well be happening to many other restaurants around the country.
This could very well become a trend, a trend of hate and ignorance, like so many others before. It seems that certain customers who were dining at this particular restaurant; as the radio host was saying, upon paying their bill, wrote on the bill, “no justice, no tip”. What new kind of hateful logic is this? Why would someone patronize an establishment, knowing they will receive service and that they are expected to include a gratuity for that service and then do something so hateful?
What exactly does that mean, “no justice, no tip”? Did this person who was served their meal and such also receive “no justice” while at the restaurant. Did their server offend them and deliver “no justice” to them, whatever that means? It is highly unlikely that the server was anything but polite and attentive, since they work for little wages and depend heavily on “tips” to supplement their pay. Anyone who goes to a restaurant knows, or should know this!
So just what was this person trying to say, just who were they trying to hurt? “No justice, no tip”? If this angry, hateful person is living every day with this kind of hateful attitude then maybe they may be in need of some counseling? What is it called; sensitivity training, anger management, or some such thing?
How can this person honestly feel justified in this ignorant, hateful display of anger? What is it, this “no justice” that it affects them so deeply and makes them want to be angry and hurtful toward others? Doe s this perceived “no justice” that wounds them so greatly, justify and condone such a display of callousness and disregard for others; should it?
Why should they want to display such utter contempt for a poor server at a restaurant who has nothing to do with whatever this “no justice” is that has such control over them that they cannot treat others humanly?  Is this poor server, who relies on the kindness of those they serve, directly involved or connected with this “no justice” that is blinding them with hate for others? I would doubt it very much. They probably are just trying to get by and make enough money to pay their bills and such, much like all of us.  So hurting this server with your display of misplaced contrived hatred; this makes you feel better, this makes it right?  Does this “no justice, no tip, hateful foolishness make right whatever wrongs that are so directly and severely hurting you? By being unjust to someone else, that makes you happy and satisfies your wounded soul?
Hurt some innocent, poor server just trying to get by, that’s the solution, yeah! I must let everyone know just how angry I am to have to live in this unfair and unjust country. So until I get justice, I will treat all those I perceive to be causing me grief and who are being unjust with the same.
Will this “no justice” thirst ever be quenched? If this person feels this way, how many others are nursing the same attitudes of “no justice” self righteousness and indignation? What will it take, how far will it go? Will it be long before this shameful behavior spreads to other areas of our society, poisoning the minds of so many and fostering hate throughout?  How much further into the abyss can we go?
With the prodding of those who champion this type of behavior and the willing accomplices, there is really no end in sight. Those who make a living inciting others to behave in this way will not give an inch and there is nothing anyone can say or do to appease them. They are not looking for solutions, peaceful or otherwise and they cannot be reasoned with or satisfied. This is just unthinkable! They are in the business of hate and business is good!
So for the foreseeable, long term future, this most probably will continue with an even greater ferocity and fervor and America will continue to sink  ever deeper into the abyss.

Something to Consider
 
I am just one out of millions with something to say. Take it or leave it but please do not be offended. I am only one of many adding to the discourse of human endeavor.

 We all have opinions and ideas if we use the brains God gave us, whomever you may perceive that God to be. Truth is, we are all here on this little planet together as one people and no one really knows exactly how or why. So we should make an honest effort to understand each other’s differences with compassion, tolerance and humility.  We should not be taken in by those who only want to separate us with the opposite, for their own selfish gains.

Politics and religion can be used for good, but there are those who use them only to separate us and blind us to the fact that we are really not all that different. These are the desires of man and not of God, whoever that God is to you.

There is only one true God, but as humans who cannot see ourselves as the same only with differences; we choose to see God differently or not at all and then fight about it. What are we fighting about, really? We are all under the same watchful eye and all will be revealed in time. Stop trying to change each other and accept others for who and what they are, not who you want them to be.  You do not have that right and neither does anyone else who tells you that you should.

 You will see that we all want the same basic things, we all have our own free will, endowed by our creator and therefore there will be differences; understand it, don’t hate it. Hate is what the people who only want to control us want us to do and we always fall for it and play right into their hands. Has history taught us nothing? This has been going on for thousands of years and we, the trapped beings, all stuck here together on this sphere, floating out in space, still cannot figure out how to get along? Why, what is it that makes us so intolerant towards others, does it make our life better, or the lives of others better when we act out hate and intolerance?

 Who are the ones who influence us to behave in such a way? Why should we follow them; are they different from us? Are they any better than we are that we should do whatever they tell us we should do, even if it involves hate and death and destruction? Who are these people, really, and what gives them the right to think for you, or me, or anybody else for that matter?

Perhaps it is us, we give them this right because too many of us will not, or refuse to think for ourselves and allow ourselves to be manipulated and led around like sheep. Sooner or later we all will be like lamb chops on their rather large and decadent dinner table. Why do we choose this for ourselves when we don’t have to? Why do we allow ourselves to be under someone else’s control, someone who is dictating how we should live and behave toward others who are not like us? For God’s sake we are all different, so where does it start and where does it end? When will these manipulating bullies be satisfied? What will it take?

The truth is, they will never be satisfied and they will never stop. As long as we allow them to, they will continue to use us and (mis)lead us and keep us at odds with each other to maintain the power they have over us, the power that we gave them and continue to give them.

Is it easier to just hate every day and be controlled by haters, rather than exercise tolerance and understanding for our fellow humans? Maybe to some it is and that is very sad. Is this any way to live life; is this what we were put here for? What were we put here for, why are we on this globe spinning out in space? Is it really to hate one another?

Is it really so important, this need to hate someone because they are different or have a man made, earthly religion that is different from yours. Think about it! This religion, whatever it may be, did it come from God or man? Is it an earthy concept derived from the mind of man, or did it come from God? If all came from God, how is this possible, how can He be so many different religions at once?  I know God is omnipresent, but is He omnireligious? God is all things to all people, so is He all religions to all people? Apparently so it would seem, but is this God’s idea or man’s idea? Did God purposely split himself into so many different fragments just to present himself as the one true religion to each? Just for His amusement or what? O r is He still the same God, the one true, all knowing, all seeing God but we refuse to accept it and be accepting of the different beliefs of others?

  Are these religions that we hate and fight and kill for a product of man or of God? More battles have been fought and more people have died in the name of religion than any other thing in history. This has been going on for thousands of years. Unless some of us here on this little planet we call earth; where we all have been put, by who knows and why. Unless we face the truth that there is only one true God and that religion is a man thing not a God thing and it should be up to each individual; the senseless, shameful hatred and killing will continue.

We are all here together and we must realize that we are all children of the same all knowing, all seeing, all loving, omnipresent, (not omnireligious) God, however we see Him. Worship is personal and we must respect others and the religion they choose.  God just wants to love us and for us to love Him in return. God does not look at what religion we are but rather at what is in our hearts and our minds and our souls. He sees how we treat others and what we do in His name.

 Religion is a man made thing and God is God. Eventually we will all have to answer for what we did in the name of religion and in the name of God, or whatever name you know Him by. He is watching, he already knows, but you will surely answer and you will surely face His judgment. How are you treating others, is it with respect, love and tolerance or with disrespect, hate and intolerance? What is in your heart, you know and He knows also. How do you want to be judged?

A Question of Racism


 

  This is so sad, but It is the reality we face in America today. Does racism exist? Yes, and it always will, it is just human nature and we are not perfect. Racism happens in small ways and sometimes in a big way and it is very hurtful and can do great harm.

Is what happened to Trayvon Martin a result of racism? The evidence does not conclusively prove this out, though a great many believe it to be so. What most likely happened  or what may have happened is that a man found himself in a life or death situation and he feared for his life because an apparently out of control young man; maybe out of fear, or maybe not, was violently beating him. This person who was getting the life beaten out of him did what most anyone would do when abject fear takes over. He decided he did not want to die right there by the hands of an out of control mad (young) man. So out of human instinct, that all of us have, he chose to save his own life by any means he had at his disposal. That is one interpretation of what could have happened. However there are many scenarios going around and none of them has a happy ending. Unfortunately it resulted in the death of the person that he perceived to be trying to kill him. Any way you look at it, this is a tragedy that it had to happen, but what led to this happening and was it really racism, whether initially intended or not. Can we be absolutely sure, should we make assumptions?

Do we really know without a doubt if there was or was not any intention of racism on the part of either one of the two involved in that deadly collision that night? Do not let anger decide for you, rather take an honest look at what is known and try to make an intelligent and fair decision.
 

Was it deserved? Whether it was or was not, it happened and nothing can be done to change that. Only the two people involved truly know exactly what happened and how it happened. Only one is alive to tell the story, and the popular opinion is that this person is guilty, simply because he was not of the same heritage of the person who was killed as a result of actions taken that night.


Was this a racist act on the part of either person, maybe both equally? To try to answer that we need to look into the lifestyles of each of them to see how they lived. What were the attitudes and behavior of these two people before this happened? How did they treat others; with respect or with a bias of intolerance and hate? How were these two people raised, was it in a loving family environment, teaching respect and civility towards others or was it something else quite different?  Something in the backgrounds of these two people caused them to make the decisions they made that night and result in such an explosive reaction. Fear can make someone act in a way they may not ordinarily act, especially if it perceived to be a life or death situation. But what makes a person take the actions they take prior to the point of no return, where they find themselves in a situation they cannot back out of. They go too far and now everything changes, they cannot go back and decisions are made irrationally and perhaps out of fear. What is in a person to make them take things to that point, to not remove themselves from the situation and the perceived possibility that it could lead into something serious, very serious? What makes a person persist when it should be obvious that, maybe they are in the wrong place at the wrong time (if there is ever a good time to be in the wrong place to begin with)? 

What led them to be in that place, and how do they react now that they are there? There is still time to make a decision, a decision that will affect the rest of your life. What is decided upon is the most important thing in your life at that moment. How do you decide to act? Do you go forward and press the issue or do you try to quell the situation or do you try to remove yourself from the situation in an effort to eliminate the perceived threat? What you do at that moment will have an effect on the rest of your life, what will you do? The kind of person you are and how you treat others will play a big part in the making of this decision. How will you react?

We know the outcome of this current tragic story, but what we do not know is what made these two people make the decisions that were made prior to, leading up to and once they found themselves in a volatile situation. What went through the minds of these two people and how were they programmed to react, How did they live and how did they think? Did a racial bias play a role in either ones decision, or were both just in fear for their lives and reacted out of instinct?
 

Did anyone bother to ask any of these questions of even consider any of this? It seems that knee jerk reactions and quick, not well thought out assumptions were made. Before long we had people who were not even there telling us exactly what happened, what we should do and how we should react. It was decided that one person was definitely and completely in the wrong and that this person was of a race other than that which he really was, and that this person was a racist. All this had to happen to make things right and to satisfy the deep seated hate which has become so prevalent in America today.


Never mind looking at what happened rationally and honestly and with maybe just a little bit of humanity. Let’s take a tragic situation and exploit it, make it ten times worse, disrespect the lives of those affected by this tragedy and use it for our own advantage, yeah, that’s what we’ll do. Don’t worry about the true facts or why this happened the way it did, just keep poking that stick in the hornet’s nest and our accomplices will take it from there.


So it was decided, that’s what we’ll do, and that is exactly what happened, and it continues even after our judicial system has done what it is designed to do, in spite of what others may think or say. Now our own government has decided that our system of laws is false and unjust, our own government no less, so they have decided to pursue this person they have condemned from the start and deemed guilty. They plan to apparently hound this person and make life for himself and his family intolerable, because they have decided he deserves it, our own government!


This is disrespectful to the memory of Trayvon Martin, that such a despicable act should be carried out in his name, and it is disrespectful to all Americans. When the government does something such as this to any American, it does it to all Americans, why can’t we as a united people, see this? Maybe it is because we really are no longer united. We have been divided and made to hate one another. Certain people for their own zealous and selfish reasons strive every day to keep us apart as an American people; they want to keep us at odds with one another.


So is there racism, like I stated earlier, sure, it is human nature. But if we are civilized human beings we control this human emotion and understand it for what it is, destructive and hateful. Again I ask; is there racism? Well let’s take a look at what is going on and what has been going on for a long time.


Listen to what is being said, I mean really said, and by whom. Does this sound the least bit hateful or destructive to you, Honestly, does it? It doesn't matter what their heritage is or what political “party” they associate themselves with. This is just a distraction that takes us away from the truth! Listen to what is being said and just who is saying it, be they a public or political figure or other. Does it sound hateful or hurtful, does it sound rational, and does it make sense. Is what they are saying something that will bring us together or pull us farther apart?


Like I said, ignore heritage, we are all human and thus we all have it within our human nature the capacity to be racist. It is just how we deal with it and with our fellow man (or woman) that sets us apart. Does anything these individuals say in the least way fall into a category that could possibly be construed as a racist remark?

Listen carefully and intellectually, because these individuals are polished and practiced in the ways in which they do their job. They are experienced in saying just the perfect thing to get the reaction they are looking for and they know that they will never be questioned for what they say or what may ensue as a result of their actions.

Maybe you do not see their actions as such because after being honest, really honest with yourself; you just do not see an inkling of racism present in their remarks or demeanor. That’s fine if that is your soul searching, honest feeling. Do you maybe think it is impossible for this person to be a racist, simple due to the heritage? I must repeat, “ignore heritage, we are all human and thus we all have it within our human nature the capacity to be racist.” That is just a fact, a truth of human nature; it cannot be disputed, or altered in any way! We simply must have it within our capacity to humanly cope with this human nature with tolerance and humility.


So once again, there is all this talk about racism, it has become like a “dirty” word to many and it is used like a weapon, a weapon of “mass destruction” if you will, for many to do harm to others and destroy those they do not agree with. This accusation is tossed around like a dirty pair of underwear and no one wants it to land on them. If it does it is nearly impossible to get the filth and the stink removed.


If this pair of dirty underwear is out there being tossed around, who is doing the tossing? Keep a sharp eye and an ear to listen. Be completely honest with yourself, as an American; not a hyphenated American but a real American. Where will the next pair of dirty underpants come from and who will be doing the tossing? Who will it land on this time, better hope it isn't you!


Is there racism, and if so, where is it coming from? You are a free thinking American, you have the brains God gave you, figure it out!

To Tell the Truth
 
There was a television show back in the 50's called "To Tell the Truth", maybe we should bring it back.
 
I may be just another misinformed American, or maybe one who just does not believe everything I see and hear from the mainstream media or the internet...But I am a thinking American, unlike many these days and as such I do tend to ask questions from time to time. I like to at least try to find out the truth if at all possible and not just take someone else's word for something; especially if it is something important. Anything concerning our government and those who govern us, etc. should be truthful and honest.
It should not be considered un-American or even racist in the least when someone wants to know more about the people who have a certain amount of control over their life, livelihood, or freedom. Leaders should be questioned and they should also be forthright and honest with their answers; yes, they should answer.
 To just accept what someone says, especially someone with an agenda or selfish motive, without question is foolish and in some cases can be very dangerous. If we do not hold our government leaders to the highest standard we are cheapening the very ideals our great country was founded on. To not hold our government leaders to the truth and expect them to be honest is disgraceful and an insult to all great Americans; that means all of us, from the founding of this great country to the present, and it is disrespectful to everything this nation stands for.
We should be proud to be American and we are privileged living in American. We should thank God every day that we are an American. So like I said, I sometimes have questions.  Here it goes, is President Obama truly one hundred percent "black"? Were both parents "black"? Is he from Africa, is he "African-American"? I just don't remember getting a lot of information about this.
What makes a person a true African-American? Do they have to have solid family roots that would trace their family origins back to Africa? That would seem likely. Would that mean that not all African-Americans are necessarily "black"? So what is the makeup needed to be labeled "black" or in some cases "African-American"? Should both parents be "black", going back to the beginning, or can there be some other race mixed in somewhere along the line and still be considered "black"? I may be a little uninformed as I said, but these are just questions I have and would like to know.
Is Obama truly, our first "black" president? Honestly? It really should not change anything one way or the other, whether he is or not. Things would still be what they are. But just what is the truth about his family origins. The people of The United States deserve the honesty and respect of a truthful answer. Not for any hateful or "racist" reasons, just because the people of this country should be treated with respect and they should know about the people who are leading them and not have secrets kept from them that should be common knowledge and public record.
This is not intended to offend anyone, it's just that if we are to respect and look up to our leaders, they should be straight with us and not keep the simple common things hidden from us, like who they are and where did they come from. You couldn't even get a job as a bus driver without being asked to answer those questions.

It seems that our own government does not approve of our judicial system. Has the president or the weight of the federal government ever done such a thing as this, to say that they do not agree with the judicial system and intervene?
We are a nation of laws, not perfect, but we must live by those laws or we will have chaos and anarchy and violence in the streets. This does not help in healing the nation; it only helps to further divide us. Is this what our leaders and our government really want? That is what it looks like and that is what is going to happen if they continue to ignore our judicial system and our laws and not acting like mature sensible leaders of our country but rather act like a bunch of spoiled children who only want to have their way and do not care who gets hurt in the process.
 It is dangerous to give children too much responsibility and authority, especially spoiled, privileged children. Adults who have been pampered and spoiled and protected all their life are no different than children of the same. That is what we seem to have here, adults who have not really grown up are still spoiled and pampered and excused from all wrongdoing and responsibility and we put them in a position of power. Now these "children" are out of control and we the "parents" are going to have to address the situation. But how do you discipline a bunch of out of control grown up children when they are so well protected and they are in control of the government and almost half of the nation? The real grownups must try to rein in this spoiled brat, over privileged adult children and regain order, common sense, civility and honesty back to the house and our battered and abused country.
Lady Liberty has been disrespected far too long and these immature, spoiled adults obviously have no respect for our citizens, our constitution or our laws. They want things the way they want them and can and will do whatever they want to have things their way. We put them in control of our country and now we must face the consequences. Spoiled brat children will do what spoiled brat children do, can you blame them? We should have know from the beginning, but we thought how cute, let them have their way; we'll keep a watch on them. So when they only do what comes natural and realize hey, we can do whatever we want and nobody will say a thing about it, and if they do we will just yell and scream and have a tantrum like the spoiled brat (adult) children that we are and they will let us have our way. So who is to blame, we let it happen and we continue to allow it to go on.
The adoring parents tolerating our little spoiled brat children and letting them have their way while we turn away and console ourselves with all the many distractions we have created so we won’t have to deal with the unruly children. Trouble is, sooner or later we must deal with these unruly children because they will eventually bring the whole house down and their out of control behavior will affect the sanctity of our sheltered little world and as they have more freedom to do all the out of control things they want to do, we will have less. It is already happening, but who can we blame but ourselves, the proud parents.
When you invite a snake into your home and then the snake turns on you and bites you, do not blame the snake, it is only doing what comes natural. You should have known it was a snake before you let it in!

Truth or Consequences



I just saw a comment as follows:

“On February 26th, 2012, Trayvon Benjamin Martin was murdered by George Zimmerman. His crime, walking while black in an unfamiliar neighborhood. He was unarmed, alone, afraid, and desperately trying to find his way. In the end, he died unarmed, alone, afraid, and desperately trying to find his way.”


This could have been written by any one of a hundred people flooding the internet with such statements. The author shall remain anonymous, it is not important for this writing.


Really! This is so tragic, so unjust, how can people be like this toward one another. Just read the lines above; doesn’t it make you angry that something like that can happen. No one should be allowed to get away with something like that! This poor completely innocent person was alone, and afraid, DESPERATELY trying to find his way! This innocent young man “… died unarmed, alone, afraid, and desperately trying to find his way.” It just doesn’t seem real, how can this happen!



I must believe it did happen just that way because that is what this person wrote. I am sure this person took the time to talk to witnesses, combed through the police reports, looked at all the photographs, and maybe even has personal knowledge of exactly what took place as this innocent young man “… died unarmed, alone, afraid, and desperately trying to find his way.”



The truth is the truth! It is undisputable and cannot be changed or altered or made up. If any of these things happen, even in the slightest way, then what is presented as truth is actually not the truth, it is something else entirely. When a person makes a statement such as the one that started this essay, they have to believe it to be true and they must want anyone who reads it to believe it to be the truth also. One must be absolutely certain that what they are saying is the absolute truth, especially if they are going to present it in a public forum, and especially something as horrific as this. This is going out to thousands of readers and it will sway public opinion and most definitely will make many people angry, very angry, boiling mad, crazy mad! When something is true; something like this for instance, than people need to know about it and something must be done and we should be angry, crazy mad and let everyone know so they also can become  angry, and crazy mad.



That must have been the thoughts of the person who presented this true story on this public forum. Everything is documented and I know every fact to be the truth, so I must inform the people and let them know the truth of how this innocent young man “… died unarmed, alone, afraid, and desperately trying to find his way.” I know it will make many people very mad, crazy mad, and some may even feel justified to resort to violence. Some may even feel that they should kill someone else and their actions be justified. Maybe that is what should happen, they all deserve it anyway. That will make it right.



When a person makes a statement and puts it out for the entire world to see, and hear, they must realize that their words are very powerful. Once it is out there it cannot be taken back, so one must take what they present very seriously, because words can either heal or they can do harm. They can do great harm and sometimes there can be consequences as a result that maybe was not considered. Words can provoke reactions, sometimes good and sometimes bad. The more severe the words, and the more hurtful, the more negative will be the reaction, and words have no control over the person who reads them and what their reactions may be. Once they are out it is up to the reader to decide how to react, the person who produced the words cannot know all the many reactions that may result, though they may imagine what some may be. When one makes a statement of words they must know before they release it… if it will provoke a peaceful reaction or a violent one. They must also believe beyond a reasonable doubt, that what they are presenting is the truth because as I said, words are powerful and lives may be changed as a result, some forever.



So let’s take another look at that opening statement.

When you first read this, either here or where it was originally posted, did it make you angry, for any number of reasons?  Do you think this was the objective of the person who wrote it, or were they simply just presenting the truth as they believed it to be and leaving you to react to it how you saw fit?


When a person makes a statement such as this, is there any responsibility attached? Should there be? If the statement is true, then as I previously stated: “The truth is the truth! It is undisputable and cannot be changed or altered or made up. If any of these things happen, even in the slightest way, then what is presented as truth is actually not the truth, it is something else entirely.” One must think first about how they will react to the truth, and be willing to take responsibility for their actions. This is just human decency and should be common knowledge.



When you first read this, either here or where it was originally posted, did you completely believe it to be true? Did you know it to be true; I mean really factually, the God’s honest truth?  If the answer is yes, then how so? Did you have some doubts but quickly dismiss them because you so desperately wanted it to be true? If so, they why? Why would a person want something so horrific and cruel and inhuman to be true if it really wasn’t?



The author of this statement must have thought about this and knew it was true or they would not have presented it to the world for all to believe it to be so, it simply must be the truth. But yet, it is so horrible, and it makes me so angry.



Did any of this cross your mind upon reading this terrible truth? Maybe you thought,” this cannot be true, how can something like this happen?  Well it’s happened before, or so we’ve been told, so I guess it can happen again.” So you didn’t give it anymore thought and said “it’s true” and now I’m angry! Now What?
If you dismissed it as being not true, or a false interpretation of the truth, then why? Did you really, in your heart know it could not be true, or want it not to be true for whatever reason? Or do you still have enough faith in humankind that you simply could not accept it as the truth? Faith can move mountains, but the truth is the truth and nothing can change that, and why would someone make such a statement if it were not true?



So that is what we are left with. What do we do, this is just one of hundreds of such statements to be considered. One thing we can do is make the effort to verify the things we read on the internet as fact, true fact. Do not just believe or not believe everything you read on the internet without question just because you want it to be so. The web is a wealth of information and with little effort, most anything can be found. Plus there is the freedom of information act, and public records, if one takes the time to look into such things. How bad do you really want to know the truth, I mean really know. Before you invest your emotions one way or the other, if something is that important, should you not first know for certain or be reasonably certain that you are investing your energies and emotions in truth?



Think about the author of such statements, how well do you know them, can you trust your emotions and subsequently your reactions to this person? Are you willing to allow yourself to be used one way or another based on the words of someone you do not know? What if you do know them, are you going to agree with them or disagree with them because you know them, truth be damned?



Something may be the truth, but before you dismiss it as not being so, look into it, make an effort to discover what is the truth and what isn’t and vice versa. Maybe the person is well meaning but has part of the statement correct, or incorrect. Don’t take what you read on the internet at face value, do the research then decide how you want to react. Is it true or is it false?

     Instead of acting like an out of control, misinformed and irrational MOB, and being manipulated by deceivers with their own personal agendas, who only know hate and social discourse, why not use what sense and human dignity you have  and discover what is the truth, really the truth, about a situation. Take the time to learn for yourself what is true and what a lie is and check out the people giving you this information. Can they be trusted to tell you the truth or are they just playing you for a fool, to get you to do their bidding.

     Don't fall into the web of deception and get caught like a fly, only to be devoured by their selfish desires. Do not be so eager to listen to and follow every loud mouth bag of hot air just because someone puts a microphone in front of them. Listen to what they are saying and think for you, are they making good sense, should I believe what they say? Should I mindlessly follow them and not ask questions. Does what they are saying seem rational or irrational? Is this the way to heal our nation, by being out of control and irrational, spewing hatred for our fellow human beings and fellow Americans? Do these people who want you to act this way, maybe have a motive to get you to do so. How do they make their living, is it by creating civil unrest and dividing us that they get their power and thus their money. Do they really care about you and your family? Do they really have your best interest in mind? Really? When they go home and they lay their head down, are they really troubled by the hardships that you face, or do they just think about how they can further use you as a pawn to further their own selfish life, or do they even think about you at all?

     Think for yourself before you allow yourself to be used and manipulated for someone else's gain. You are smarter than that and your life is worth more than that. Think about that! While these people get richer and move on from crisis to crisis they are not thinking about you situation or your little problems, they are already thinking about the next situation they can create and getting the publicity machine cranked up to whip the next misguided crowd into a frenzy to meet their own selfish needs, like the hucksters, con men and charlatans they are. Use the brains God gave you and be your own person, make an intelligent, informed decision, not a decision made in a frenzy of shouts of hate and mob rule.

     We are still Americans, we have come a long way and we can work out our differences, first we must be civil and rational and tolerant. What we should not tolerate is those who want to deceive us use us and then move on, leaving nothing but destroyed lives in their wake. We are better than that.

     Stop, take a breath, and just look at what is going on and how we got to this point. Who are the ones who have led us to this point? Where did they come from? Are they really trying to help Americans come together or are they only making the divide wider with accusations and hate speech?  Are these the kind of people we want to lead us? Are these people really going to unite us or drive a wedge between us for their own selfish and shameful gain? If you can face this question honestly and you are not sure of the answer, find out.

     We should question the motives and know the backgrounds of every public figure, especially those in a position of power, who can make decisions that directly affect our lives. Don’t just mindlessly follow someone because someone else tells you to. Find out for yourself just who is this person you should follow, and just who is this person telling you to follow them. What is their background, what have they done in the past to earn your respect and loyalty, that you should follow them. Do they bring people together or do the divide people with false accusations and hatred. What have they done and can you trust them with your loyalty and respect, that is something you must consider.

     Your respect is something you should not take lightly and just give out without first knowing who it is that you are giving your respect to, and above all you must respect yourself. Will you respect yourself after being misled and shamefully used by someone who does not even respect you, someone who tricked you into giving your respect only to eventually discover that they are not what was presented to you and you did not make an effort to find out who they really were? Is your life going to be better because of this person or in the end will they only leave your life and others in shattered ruins and move on to their next big thing?

     Are they really concerned with improving a community and the lives of those living there, or just the publicity and money that can be gained for a time, using anyone they can to justify their shameful means? God gave us free will and a brain to think for ourselves, so use both and arm yourself with the truth and the self respect of someone who does not allow them self  to be played and manipulated. It is easiest to follow the mob, but not always the wisest of decisions. We tend to lose our own identity and any semblance of rational thinking. We follow those who only want to lead us astray like an out of control herd of sheep running over the edge of a cliff.

     Lives can be destroyed or changed forever. Is this a rational, civilized way to behave? Do we really want to follow someone like this? Find out before you commit your life and your future to a person or persons who tell you they are looking out for your best interest. Are they really? Check it out, don’t be a sheep and discover the truth when you are going over the cliff.
